Sedalia Police and Fire Department Respond to Vehicle Fire

Sedalia Police and the Sedalia Fire Department responded to a vehicle fire at 3109 Aaron Avenue on Saturday night (July 23). A vehicle, owned by Honeybear Daycare was on fire. An investigation determined that the fire was started, during an attempt to steal gasoline from the fuel tank.

Several Thefts and Property Damages Reported Over the Weekend

A woman in the 1300 Block of South New England Drive reported to Sedalia Police that someone keyed her vehicle and caused $3,000 in damages.

A man in the 2700 Block of Katy Trail Avenue reported to Sedalia Police that someone damaged his mailbox, between 4 pm on Aug. 23 and 10 am on Aug. 24.

A woman in the 300 Block of Buckner Court reported to Sedalia Police that someone broke into her apartment and damaged several items.

A woman in the 800 Block of West 20th reported to Sedalia Police that someone stole two Azalea plants from her rental home.

Sedalia Police Investigate An Assault

Sedalia Police investigated a domestic assault report involving a juvenile in the 200 Block of South Osage.

Several Arrests Made

Pettis County Deputies arrested Steven Wolfe for a no bond probation and parole warrant and a Davies County warrant, bond set at $13,000 cash bond.

Sedalia Police arrested Timothy Kelzer for a parole violation out of Jefferson County and a seat belt violation out of Cooper County, bond set at $2,702.20.

Sedalia Police arrested Alicia Ulmer for a Pettis County warrant, bond set at $2,500.

Sedalia Police arrested Angela Paquette for stealing from Walmart, bond set at $533.50 cash/surety.

Sedalia Police arrested Heather Pummill for failure to appear, bond set at $150.

Sedalia Police arrested Anthony Negron for failure to appear, bond set at $30.

Pettis County Deputies arrested Waldo-Gomez Liborio in Dresden for 2nd degree trespassing and misdemeanor.

Pettis County Deputies arrested Steven Bailey for an active warrant for his arrest.

Pettis County Deputies arrested 61-year-old Marilyn Ivy for driving while suspended.

Sedalia Police arrested Sara Howard for driving while suspended.

Sedalia Police arrested Marisa Bouse for failure to appear.

Sedalia Police arrested Gary Baker for assault.
