The following Sedalia Police and Pettis County Sheriff's crime reports are from the morning of Monday, August 3, 2015.

Pettis County Deputies investigated a possible case of statutory sodomy that occurred in the 6600 Block of Highway 50, over the weekend.

A man in the area of East Morgan and North Washington reported to Sedalia Police on Saturday morning (August 1), he was assaulted by several black males and suffered a head injury. The man was trasnported to Bothwell Regional Health Center, via Pettis County Ambulance District.

Sedalia Police observed two white males standing next to an open overhead door at ABC Mini-Storage, at 1403 West Main, on Saturday morning (August 1). The subjects ran and were not found. Sedalia Police discovered locks were cut off two of the storage units.

A man in the area of East 2nd and South Lamine reported to Sedalia Police someone stole $706 from a safe, sometime between July 22 and 25.

A man in the 35000 Block of Route KK in Mora reported someone stole some chainsaws, yesterday (August 2).
Pettis County Deputies received a report of a burglary that occurred between July 23 and August 2 in the 200 Block of Walnut Avenue in La Monte. $450 in items were stolen.

Sedalia Police received a report of a vehicle that was damaged at DIY Garage, at 110 West 7th on Friday (July 31). Someone threw a beer bottle at a vehicle and broke the glass of the car, causing $300 in damages.

A man in the 22000 Block of Highway MM reported to Pettis County Deputies, someone trespassed on his property, between July 29 and August 2.
There was a two-vehicle accident at 16th and Highway 65 on Friday afternoon (July 31). Richard Brandkamp was driving eastbound on 16th, nearing Highway 65 in the outside lane. Brandkamp looked out his driver window to the left and then looked forward, when the vehicle driven by Gloria Hartt, of Warsaw, stopped. The vehicles collided and both suffered minor damage.
Sedalia Police arrested 21-year-old Lauren Davis for animal abuse for leaving two dogs in a car, while shopping at Walmart. Sedalia Police reported the outside temperature was 86 degrees with the heat index at 95 and the temperature inside the car got to 102.
Sedalia Police arrested Samantha Lowell for a parole violation and failure to appear-misdemeanor, bond set at $250.
Pettis County Deputies arrested Kevin Clark for resisting arrest in the 1500 Block of Crestview Drive.
