The following Sedalia Police and Pettis County Sheriff's crime reports are from the morning of Monday, December 1, 2014.

Several Thefts Reported

A man reported to Pettis County Deputies that someone stole his vehicle in the area of 22500 North Highway 65 on Nov. 30.

A man reported to Sedalia Police on Nov. 27 tht someone stole items from his semi-truck in the 400 Block of West 5th. The victim also reported that someone wadded up paper towels on fire inside the semi-truck.

A man in the 1800 Block of South Warren reported to Sedalia Police that someone stole $800 in items from his home, between November 19 and 26.

Pettis County Deputies were dispatched to the 19000 Block of 32nd Street in reference to a burglary not in progress on Nov. 28. The estimated valued and amount of stolen property have not been determined.

Pettis County Deputies received a report of a theft that happened in the 4900 Block of Vernon Road, between June 28 and Nov. 26.
A man in the 1500 Block of South Moniteau reported to Sedalia Police that someone stole his license plates.

A man in the 2400 Block of Woodlawn Drive reported to Sedalia Police that he saw an unknown vehicle stop and dropped off a small dog near his home on the night of Nov. 28. The car then drove off from the scene.

Two Vehicle Accidents Reported

A deer was struck by a vehicle in the area of 16th and Marshall at 9:16 p.m. on Nov. 28. The vehicle drove off and the deer had a broken back. The officer shot the deer, so it would not suffer further.

Pettis County Deputies received a report of a vehicle accident that happened in the area of Highway M on Nov. 2. A deer crossed in front of the vehicle and hit the vehicle. The woman that was driving reported no injuries and the vehicle was removed from the road.

Several Cases of Domestic Assault and Harassment Investigated

Sedalia Police investigated a report of domestic violence that happened on Nov. 28.

Sedalia Police investigated a report of a domestic assault not in progress on Nov. 28.

Sedalia Police are investigating a report of harassment that occurred  on Nov. 29.

Pettis County Deputies investigated a report of harassment that happened on Nov. 2.

Thanksgiving Weekend Arrests

Sedalia Police arrested Rebecca Spratley for driving while intoxicated, bond set at $533.50 cash/surety.

Sedalia Police arrested Larry Summerall for driving while intoxicated, bond set at $533.50.

Sedalia Police arrested Victoriano Sevastian for trespassing at Walmart, bond set at $283.

Sedalia Police arrested Shawnna Akers for failure to appear for expired vehicle registration, bond set at $150.

Sedalia Police arrested Barbara Shull for failure to appear, bond set at $88.50.

Sedalia Police arrested Adam Moseley for second degree assault, property damage in the first, driving while suspended, careless driving, possession of drug paraphernalia, drug violation for possession of marijuana-misdemeanor and drug violation for possession of other dangerous non-narcotic drugs.

Sedalia Police arrested Jeremy White for driving while intoxicated, failure to maintain financial responsibility, careless driving and operating a motor vehicle without a valid license.

Sedalia Police arrested Brian Crump, Donavan Hastings, Rachaun Martin, Selvedin Planincic, Cody Schenewerk for possession of marijuana.

Pettis County Deputies arrested Bret Marler-Norton on possession of marijuana from a vehicle stop on Nov. 29.

Pettis County Deputies arrested David Lee Bridges Jr. for driving while suspended, possession of controlled substance in a jail facility, resisting arrest, no seat belt, no break lights and no left taillight.

Pettis County Deputies arrested Stacy Uptegrove on an active Pettis County warrant for failure to appear on two counts of violation of education requirement for a child.

Sedalia Police arrested Conelius Read for failure to appear and driving while suspended.

Sedalia Police arrested Jeremy White for domestic assault in the 3rd.

Sedalia Police arrested Zoeyi Lafavor for driving while suspended.

Pettis County Deputies arrested Darrell Nease on an active Pettis County warrant.

Pettis County Deputies arrested Michael Hathaway Jr. for an outstanding warrant.
