The following Sedalia Police and Pettis County Sheriff's crime reports are from the morning of Monday, December 8, 2014.

Sedalia Fire Department and Police Department Respond To Fire

Sedalia Police received a 911 call about a fire at 812 West Henry on Dec. 2. Sedalia Police found a leaf fire that was beside the home and was melting the siding. The landlord tried to use a rake to get the burning leaves away from the home. The Sedalia Fire Department arrived and put out the embers that were still going. The cause of the fire and estimated loss is unknown.

Sedalia Police Receive Report of Sexual Assault

Sedalia Police received a report of a sexual assault that happened in the 1200 Block of West Spring on several occasions, between 1986 and 1989. The victim did not want to pursue charges, but wanted it documented.

Several Disturbances and Thefts Reported

A woman reported to Sedalia Police that someone she knows pulled up next to her daughter's vehicle, in the area of 14th and South Grand, and showed her the tip of the barrel of a handgun after school on Dec. 6.

Sedalia Police received a report of someone driving through the area of Katy Park, tearing up the fields at 4:15 Saturday morning (Dec. 6).

A man in the 400 Block of North Prospect reported to Sedalia Police that someone damaged his property and a Toshiba TV, valued at $2,000, on Friday (Dec. 5.).

A man in the Thompson Hills Shopping Center reported to Sedalia Police that a pair of boots, valued at $399.99, was stolen on Saturday (Dec. 6). The man did leave his used boots on the shelf at the store.

A man in the 500 Block of Sunset Drive reported to Sedalia Police that someone stole his stereo base plate, valued at $350, from his car on Dec. 6.

A man in the 200 Block of East Chestnut reported to Sedalia Police that someone stole tools and other items from her home on Nov. 22.

Pettis County Deputies received a report of a burglary in the 4900 Block of Vernon Road on Sunday (Dec. 7).

Pettis County Deputies received a report of a theft of some tools in the 13000 Block of Williams Circle Road on Sunday (Dec. 7).

Pettis County Deputies were called to the 300 Block of Iron Street on a disturbance over stolen vehicles on Dec. 5 or 6.

Pettis County Deputies received a report of an abandoned vehicle on Friday, Dec. 5. The vehicle was towed from the scene by Pettis County Deputies.

Eight Arrests Made Over The Weekend

Sedalia Police arrested Camina Comfort for a Henry County warrant, bond set at $140 cash only and a Pettis County warrant for possession of a controlled substance, bond set at $4,500.

Sedalia Police arrested Daryl Rasa for a Pettis County warrant, bond set at $5,000 cash/surety.

Sedalia Police arrested Timothy Thomlinson for driving while intoxicated, bond set at $533.50 cash/surety.

Sedalia Police arrested Michael Burgess for failure to appear, bond set at $200.

Sedalia Police arrested Kevin Frankin for failure to appear, bond set at $88.50.

Sedalia Police arrested James Kronk for receiving stolen property $150 or more, fraudulent use of a credit device and stealing.

Pettis County Deputies arrested Megann Jasek on an active Knob Noster failure to appear charge.

Sedalia Police arrested Randy Metscher for a violation of full order of protection.
