The following Sedalia Police and Pettis County Sheriff's crime reports are from the morning of Monday, January 19, 2015.

Several Thefts and Property Damage Reported

A man in the 4200 Block of West Main Street reported to Pettis County Deputies that sometime in the last week, somebody stole a 55-inch flat screen tv, valued at $1,000; a Wetback Shop Vac, valued at $5; a fan, valued at $20; a Ridgid impact set, valued at $100; and a water heater, valued at $100 from his home.

An employee of Walmart reported to Sedalia Police that someone stole a ZTE ZMAX cell phone, valued at $179, on Jan. 18.

A man reported to Sedalia Police that somebody slashed a tire to his truck, while it was parked in a parking lot in the area of South Osage and West 2nd, between 3:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. on Jan. 18.

A man in the 600 Block of East Boonville Street reported to Pettis County Deputies that someone destroyed his mailbox and the pole it set on, between 10 p.m. on Jan. 17 and 7 a.m. on Jan. 18.

An owner of a storage unit in the 800 Block of Ruth Ann Drive reported to Sedalia Police that someone had cut off the lock and removed items on Jan. 16.

A man in the 2100 Block of South Kentucky reported to Sedalia Police that someone dumped out two small bags of trash into his yard.

Sedalia Police Investigate a Hit & Run Accident

Sedalia Police received a report of a hit and run accident that happened yesterday afternoon (Jan. 18) at 12:04. The reporting party said that the vehicle had minor damage on the driver side door, while the other vehicle involved drove off.

Fourteen Arrests Made Over the Weekend

Sedalia Police arrested Mario Madrid for failure to appear-felony, bond set at $15,000 cash/surety.

Sedalia Police arrested Tim Diecker, William Elliot and Renee Pagel for failure to appear-misdemeanor, bond set at $1,500 cash/surety.

Sedalia Police arrested Desiree Lee for failure to appear-misdemeanor, bond set at $750 cash/surety.

Sedalia Police arrested Billy Casto for failure to appear, bond set at $500 cash.

Sedalia Police arrested Aran Cantrell, Corey Grigsby, Bradley Markell for failure to appear, bond set at $88.50 cash.

Sedalia Police arrested Charles Montgomery for failure to appear, bond set at $86.50.

Sedalia Police arrested Robin Phillips for a probation violation.

Sedalia Police issued a municipal summons to Tyler Halderman for possession of marijuana after he was found with marijuana, after a traffic stop.

Sedalia Police issued Joel Burks a municipal summons for loud noise after playing loud music from his truck.

Sedalia Police issued Jeffrey Ward a summons for animals running at large.
