The following Sedalia Police and Pettis County Sheriff's crime reports are from the morning of Monday, July 13, 2015.

Sedalia Police investigated a report of identity theft that occurred in the area of South State Fair Boulevard and West 2nd on July 9. A man reported to Sedalia Police someone contacted him via phone and tried to get him to forward them money. The caller portrayed themselves for a company which has a loan through and obtained all his personal information.

Sedalia Police went to Washington Elementary for a report of a burglary on Friday, July 10. Two middle school and one elementary school aged children were found to be in the school at 4:30 Friday morning. There was also a report of six children that were on the playground at about the same time.

Sedalia Police investigated a report of child abuse that was reported in the 1100 Block of 11th Street on July 10.

Sedalia Police investigated a report of domestic assault in the area of South Stewart and Wilkerson Street on Saturday (July 11).

A woman reported to Sedalia Police that a man was following her around and threatened her.

A woman reported to Sedalia Police that she was harassed via Facebook on July 3.

Pettis County Deputies took a report of theft from a utility service in the 20000 Block of Glenn Road on Friday (July 10).

A bicycle was found near the Katy Trail, at East 13th and South Washington, on July 9. The bicycle was placed into Sedalia Police holding for safe keeping.

Pettis County Deputies arrested Amanda Ann Teiberis after a short pursuit for a traffic violation. Teiberis was found to be in possession of a controlled substance and paraphernalia. Teiberis is being held 24-hour hold pending filing and formal charges of resisting arrest, possession of a controlled substance and distribution and child endangerment.

Pettis County Deputies arrested Melinda Gail David for 1st degree tampering with a motor vehicle, property damage, trespassing in the first degree and resisting arrest.

Sedalia Police arrested James Yount for failure to appear-misdemeanor and failure to appear, bond set at $166.50.

Sedalia Police arrested James Dingus Fague, Caleb Perry and Bradley Simons for driving while suspended.

Pettis County Deputies arrested William Taylor of Sedalia for driving while intoxicated in the area of Highway 65 and Honda Road, yesterday morning (July 12).

Sedalia Police arrested David Shull for failure to appear

Pettis County Deputies arrested Jacob Cardwell for a a traffic violation and was found to have an active Randolph County warrant for his arrest.

Pettis County Deputies arrested Kevin Benton of Sedalia for active warrants out of Saline County and Probation and Parole.

Sedalia Police arrested Michael Chamberlain for domestic assault in the 3rd degree.

Sedalia Police arrested Brandon Bom for shoplifting a cigar from Casey's at 716 West 16th.
