The following Sedalia Police and Pettis County Sheriff’s crime reports are from the morning of Monday, July 28, 2014.

Several Thefts From Area Businesses And Homes Reported

An employee of Aaron’s Sales and Lease reported to Sedalia Police that there were eight reported cases of items that were leased out, have not been paid for and the items have not been returned to the store.

An employee of Short Cut, at 1515 Thompson Boulevard, reported to Sedalia Police that there was a $14.04 gas drive off,  yesterday afternoon (July 27).

An employee of Casey’s, at 3050 South Limit, reported to Sedalia Police that there was a $3.60 gas drive off.

Yesterday (July 27), an employee of Dollar General, at 2402 West Broadway, reported to Sedalia Police that somebody stole a cell phone from the store.

A man in the 200 Block of South Park, reported to Sedalia Police that someone broke into his car and stole some car wash tokens and a check that was made out to a nursery for $125.

A woman in the 1200 Block of South Lamine reported to Sedalia Police that she was the victim of a burglary.

A woman in the 400 Block of West Benton Street reported to Pettis County Deputies that someone stole gasoline from a lawn mower that was stored on the property, between July 16 and 26.

Sedalia Police Receive Report of Several Cases of Graffiti

Sedalia Police received a report that someone put graffiti on the Washington Street Bridge and several signs in the area of North Washington and East Main. The signs were tagged with ‘CWB’ on July 24.

A Gun Is Found

A pistol was found in the 2000 Block of Whitfield Road and turned into the Pettis County Deputies, until the rightful owner identified with proper paperwork.

Two Cases of Assault Reported

Yesterday (July 27), Sedalia Police investigated a reported case of domestic violence in the 1100 Block of Wilkerson Street.

A man reported to Sedalia Police that he was assaulted at the intersection of East 10th and Thompson on Saturday (July 26).

Two Arrests Made

Sedalia Police arrested Alexia Alexander for stealing from Walmart.

Sedalia Police arrested Kaleb Krumroy for assault.
