The following Sedalia Police and Pettis County Sheriff's crime reports are from the morning of Monday, July 7, 2014.

Several Thefts Reported

The Asset Protection Manager of Walmart reported to Sedalia Police that two subjects completed fraudulent transactions on June 30. Sedalia Police also received a report on July 4 that on several different occasions, suspects were switching prices on items, paying the lesser price and then returning the items to another store for the full price.

A man in the 19000 Block of Third Road in Dresden, reported to Pettis County Deputies that someone entered his unlocked vehicle and stole a Samsung Galaxy S3 cell phone on July 4.

A woman reported to Pettis County Deputies that somebody made an unapproved cash withdraw of $100 from her checking account.

Pettis County Deputies received a report on July 5, that somebody stole several items in the 26000 Block of Goodwill Chapel Road, between May 1 and July 5.

A woman in the 600 Block of South Limit reported to Sedalia Police that someone stole 26 tabs of Oxycodone from her bag on July 3.

A woman in the 1300 Block of East 10th reported to Sedalia Police that multiple items were stolen from her home on July 3.

An employee of Breaktime at 808 East Broadway, reported to Sedalia Police there was a $20 gas drive off.

Two Animal Bites Reported

A nine-year-old boy was playing outside in the 1300 Block of South Kentucky on Saturday (July 5) and was bit by a small dog. The boy had minor injuries to his leg and did not require medical treatment.

A man reported to Pettis County Deputies that he was bit by an animal in the 200 Block of Main Street in Hughesville.

Two Hit And Run Accidents Reported

A woman in the are of 5th and Missouri, reported to Sedalia Police that she was the victim of a hit and run accident. A vehicle damaged her 2001 Ford Crown Victoria yesterday (July 6).
Sedalia Police went to Hebrew Union Cemetery, at 2707 South Grand, on a report of a hit and run accident at 2:20 pm on July 4. A vehicle had left the roadway and struck a chain link fence surrounding the cemetery, causing damage. The vehicle left the area prior to Sedalia Police's arrival.

Several Arrests Made

Pettis County Deputies arrested Dennis Seifer for having a Morgan County warrant, bond set at $250,000 cash or surety.

Pettis County Deputies arrested Christopher Hite for having a Johnson County warrant, bond set at $4,500 cash or surety.

Sedalia Police arrested Dillon Hoover for stealing over $20 in gas from the Cork N Bottle and operating a vehicle without a valid license, bond set at $642.50.

Sedalia Police arrested Billy Casto for failure to appear, bond set at $500 cash only.

Sedalia Police arrested Lori Bisenicks for a Pettis County failure to appear charge, bond set at $175.

Sedalia Police arrested Anthony Negron for failure to appear, bond set at $88.50 cash.

Pettis County Deputies responded to a physical fight at Greens Crossing at the Flat Creek low water crossing in Smithton on July 5. Joseph Waller was arrested and taken to the Pettis County Jail on a 24-hour hold pending filing of formal charges.

Pettis County Deputies arrested David Boggs of Sedalia, and was placed on 24-hour hold pening filing of formal charges for domestic assault.

Pettis County Deputies arrested Raquel Adkins for a Sedalia warrant for failure to appear.

Sedalia Police arrested Rachel Campbell for theft and burglary at Walmart.

Two Bikes Found

Sedalia Police took possession of an 1800 ATB Kent Trailblaster, 18 speed, bike that was found in the 1200 Block of South Harrison, yesterday (July 7).

Sedalia Police took possession of a bicycle in the 1200 Block of West 3rd.
