The following Sedalia Police Department and Pettis County Sheriff's Department crime reports are from Monday, June 23, 2014.

Several Thefts and Property Damage Reported

A woman reported to Pettis County Deputies, that her black 2000 Chevy Blazer was stolen in the 22000 Block of Highway T in Dresden, sometime since June 16. The Blazer is said to have a pink deer stick in the back glass.

Sedalia Police received a report from a victim that a 12-guage Remington Pump Shotgun was stolen from a car in the 400 Block of East Howard, between 7 pm on June 20 and 2:30 pm on June 21.

A man in the 1500 Block of East 6th, reported to Sedalia Police that $82 in items were stolen from his home on June 12.

A man in the 400 Block of East Howard, reported to Sedalia Police that someone tried to pry open the door to his camping trailer on Saturday (June 21).

An employee of Casey's, at 3050 South Limit, reported a $9.32 gas drive off on Saturday afternoon (June 21).

Pettis County Deputies received a report of a vehicle and trailer stolen in the 900 Block of Putnam Road on Saturday (June 21). The vehicle has been located, but the trailer is still missing as of the Pettis County Sheriff's report from this morning (June 23).

A man in the 300 Block of East Saline, reported to Sedalia Police that someone had shot out a window to his home with a bb gun yesterday (June 22).
Two Disturbances Investigated

Pettis County Deputies and the Missouri State Highway Patrol went to the 4500 Block of McVey Road on a report of a domestic dispute on Saturday (June 21). The incident reportedly involved weapons and the suspect fled the scene.

Sedalia Police went to the 1300 Block of South Ohio this morning (June 23, for a reported disturbance. A man reported to Sedalia Police that he was approached by four men in the 500 Block of East 5th, while in his truck. One of the men threatened to him him and two of the men hit window with a fist. The victim left the scene and there was not any damage to the truck.

Two Hit And Run Accidents Investigated

An employee of Boonslick Regional Library, at 219 West 3rd, reported to Sedalia Police that someone backed into the handicap railing on the east side of the building and caused damage to the railing, around 3:57 pm on June 20.

A man in the area of 3rd and Warren, reported to Sedalia Police that his car was hit by another vehicle and suffered minor damage to the rear bumper. The other vehicle drove off from the scene at 3:45 pm on June 20.

Several Arrests Made

Sedalia Police arrested Michael Arnold for failure to obey, after Sedalia Police did a traffic stop in the 1800 Block of South Limit. Arnold approached the car during the traffic stop and started yelling. Arnold was arrested for interfering with the arrest and released. Sedalia Police did submit charges to the prosecutor.

Pettis County Deputies arrested Pedro Trevino of Sedalia for leaving the scene of accident and property damage after colliding into a utility pole near Smithton at 11:50 am on June 20.
Sedalia Police arrested James O'Conner for failure to appear, bond set at $10.

Sedalia Police arrested Sarita Leon for driving while suspended.

A man reported to Pettis County Deputies that he found clothing and other property in his field on Morgan Road in Pettis County on June 20.
