The following Sedalia Police and Pettis County Sheriff's crime reports are from the morning of Monday, November 24, 2014.

Several Thefts and Property Damage Reported

A man in the Harrison Apartments reported to Sedalia Police that someone burglarized one of the apartments after the fire there. The man reported that someone stole video game equipment and televisions, valued at $1,100, were stolen between November 19 and 22.

Pettis County Deputies received a report that $850 in batteries were stolen from some farm equipment implements in the 21000 Block of Carlin Mar Road in La Monte on Nov. 21 or 22.

A woman reported to Sedalia Police that her cell phone was stolen in the 1600 Block of East Broadway.

A man in the 1300 Block of South Prospect reported to Sedalia Police that someone stole items out his car, yesterday (Nov. 23).

A man in the 24000 Block of Randall Road reported to Pettis County Deputies that someone broke into his vehicle and stole his wallet and used his bankcard without his permission on Nov. 1 or 2.

An employee of Williams Woody Nissan reported to Sedalia Police that someone tried purchasing a vehicle, via the internet, with a stolen credit card on Nov. 21.

A man reported to Sedalia Police that someone obtained his social security number and opened three credit card accounts on Nov. 18.

Pettis County Deputies received a report of identity theft that occurred in Green Ridge on Nov. 21 or 21.

A man reported to Pettis County Deputies that someone stole items in the 15000 Block of Route O in Smithton on Nov. 23.

The Sedalia School Resource Officer at the Smith-Cotton High School received a report that someone stole $40 in cash from a purse on Nov. 19. There are suspects in the case and the matter has been referred to the Pettis County Juvenile Office.

An employee of Jiffy Stop, at 1722 West Broadway, reported to Sedalia Police that there was a $27.84 gas drive off.

Pettis County Deputies received a report of illegal dumping in the area of Gentry Road and Randall Road on Nov. 10.

Pettis County Deputies investigated a report of property damage in the 23000 Block of Oak Grove Lane on Nov. 14.

Pettis County Deputies received a report of vandalism in the 3300 Block of South Washington. A vehicle was spray painted, causing $500 in damages, between 11 pm on Nov. 21 and 7 am on Nov. 22.

Pettis County Deputies received a report of an animal bite that occurred in the 23000 Block of Gottschalk Road on Nov. 21.

Several Arrests Made

Pettis County Deputies arrested Jeffery Allen Buchannan on an outstanding Pettis County warrant for domestic assault in the 2nd degree, driving while revoked and probation violation, bond set at $254,500.

Sedalia Police arrested James Deuschle for failure to appear-misdemeanor, bond set at $2,500 cash/surety.

Sedalia Police arrested James Yount for a Pettis County warrant, bond set at $2,500 cash/surety.

Sedalia Police arrested John Kelley the Second for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, bond set at $1067 cash/surety.

Sedalia Police arrested Cody Paxton for failure to appear for driving while suspended, bond set at $250.

Sedalia Police arrested April Peterson for a Cooper County warrant, bond set at $151.

Sedalia Police arrested Elizabeth Brown and Richard Diaz for failure to appear, bond set at $88.50.

Sedalia Police arrested Joshua Pratte for a probation violation and was found to have a syringe, plastic straw and a small ziploc baggie on him. Pratte was additionally charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and drug violation for possession of other dangerous non-narcotic drugs.

Sedalia Police arrested Crystal Thomas and Jeremy Schmadeke for stealing from Walmart.

Sedalia Police arrested Jason Klein for a parole violation.

Sedalia Police arrested Mario Madrid for assault in the 2nd degree.

Sedalia Police arrested Meshell Kempton for leaving the scene of an accident.

Sedalia Police arrested Michael Gray for driving while suspended.

Pettis County Deputies arrested Dylan Landon for property damage in the first degree.
