Sedalia Police Investigating a Child Molestation Report

Sedalia Police is investigating a reported case of child molestation in the 1900 Block of South Stewart.

Several Thefts Investigated

Pettis County Deputies responded to the 13000 Block of Hickory Point Road in Green Ridge on Friday, Nov. 18 for a burglary not in progress. The victim reported to Pettis County Deputies that a gold watch valued at $200 was stolen between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. on Nov. 15.

A man in the 1000 Block of East 5th reported to Sedalia Police that someone entered his home and stole prescription medications between 9 and 10:45 p.m. on Nov. 15.

A woman in the 1200 Block of South Kentucky reported to Sedalia Police that two suspects broke in her home and stole numerous items on Nov. 15, between 1:30 and 6 a.m.

A woman from Otterville reported to Sedalia Police that someone stole her wallet while at Walmart on Saturday (Nov. 16), between 2:45 and 3:22 p.m.

The Asset Protection Associate for Walmart reported to Sedalia Police that between 8:45 and 9:30 yesterday morning (Nov. 17), three subjects came into the store and stole items. Two of the subjects took the merchandise to the service counter and returned the items for refunds, while the third suspect left the store.

Several Arrests Made Over the Weekend

Sedalia Police arrested David Wilson for being a fugitive from justice in Illinois, bond set at $10,000 and an additional warrant with bond set at $75.

Sedalia Police arrested Reymundo Pena for having a Cooper County warrant, bond set at $1,000.

Sedalia Police arrested Douglas Stevens for having a Warrensburg Police Department warrant, bond set at $150 cash/surety.

Sedalia Police arrested Trista Kendricks for failure to obey/resisting arrest and was placed into 12-hour protective custody.

Sedalia Police arrested Shannon Bates for failure to appear for not having an operator's license, bond set at $88.50.

Sedalia Police arrested Ray Sisemore for failure to appear, bond set at $88.50.

Sedalia Police arrested Douglas Sim for driving while suspended.

Pettis County Deputies arrested 21-year-old Tramone Poindexter for charges of third degree assault.

Pettis County Deputies arrested 20-year-old Kristopher Paxton for an active Pettis County warrant and was placed on 24-hour hold for possession of an illegal weapon.
