The following Sedalia Police and Pettis County Sheriff's Crime Reports are from the morning of Tuesday, Oct. 8, 2013.

Several Thefts Investigated

Sedalia Police went to the area of North Osage and West Henry on a report of juveniles stealing wiring from a utility pole. Three juveniles cut off wiring from two poles around 11:45 last night (Oct. 7) according to a witness.

A man reported to Sedalia Police that his Red Dyno Bazooka 20-inch bike valued at $100 was stolen from his backyard between 8:45 p.m. on Oct. 6 and 7:30 a.m. on Oct. 7.

A man in the area of 6th and Brown reported to Pettis County Deputies that he was a theft victim yesterday (Oct. 7).

A woman from Hughesville reported to the Pettis County Sheriff's Office that she was the victim of identity theft.

Pettis County Deputies received a report from a man in Green Ridge that someone has been passing bad checks.

Several Arrests Made

Last night (Oct. 7), Sedalia Police stopped a vehicle at South Engineer and West 9th for having a license plate on a vehicle that did not match up. The driver gave a Sedalia Police a false identity, then identified himself as Joshua Batman. Batman was arrested for identity theft, driving while suspended, failure to appear for a traffic and speeding violation and a failure to appear for a seat belt and improper vehicle registration. The total bond was set at $1,000 cash/surety and $10 cash for the failure to appears and the rest of the offenses will be determined.

Sedalia Police arrested David Snyder for stealing, bond set at $3,500 cash/surety.

Sedalia Police arrested Jeremy Radar for domestic assault, bond set at $533.50 cash/surety.

Sedalia Police arrested Bobby Johnson for a Sedalia warrant, bond set at $80.40 cash.

Sedalia Police arrested Sivan Mead for a Linn County probation violation, no bond was set.

Sedalia Police arrested Vena Schoonover for a parole violation warrant, no bond was set.
