The following Sedalia Police and Pettis County Sheriff's crime reports are from the morning of Saturday, August 1, 2015.

Pettis County Deputies received a report of property damage that occurred in the 24000 Block of Oak Grove Lane.  A large tractor trailer broke a power line and power pole on Friday morning (July 31), according to the victim.

Pettis County Deputies received a report that someone stole a teal 2006 Chevy Four-Wheel Drive Silverado from a driveway in the 31000 Block of Tebo Road, yesterday (July 31).

A man reported to Sedalia Police he loaned his white 2000 Toyota Sienna CE van to someone and reported it stolen. The van was found in Marshall. Clinton Cowher was found to have the vehicle and was arrested, pending charges from Marshall Police.

A man in the 27000 Block of Morton Road, in Green Ridge, reported to Pettis County Deputies someone stole two Husqvarna chainsaws and a mig welder from his shop on July 29.

A ladder was reported stolen yesterday (July 31), from rental property in the area of West 7th and South Vermont.
Pettis County Deputies arrested Ronald David Hines on an active Grundy County warrant.

An iPhone was found at Liberty Park, yesterday (July 31). Sedalia Police took possession of the iPhone and put it into the holding facility.
