The following Sedalia Police and Pettis County Sheriff's crime reports are from the morning of Tuesday, Sept. 24, 2013.

Two Assaults Reported

A woman in the 1300 Block of East 9th reported to Sedalia Police that someone broke into her home and assaulted her last night (Sept. 23).

Pettis County Deputies received a report from a juvenile student at the Smith-Cotton High School that said the student was assaulted in the school parking lot on Sept. 19. There is a suspect in the case and the case has been submitted to the Pettis County Prosecutor for charges of assault in the 3rd degree and peace disturbance.

Several Thefts Reported

Asset Protection at Walmart reported to Sedalia Police that yesterday (Sept. 23), someone stole a 55-inch flat-screen television valued at $698.

Employees of Casey's at 3050 South Limit reported to Sedalia Police there was a $53.01 gas drive off this morning (Sept. 24) and a $44.62 gas drive off yesterday morning (Sept. 23).

Employees at the Sedalia Youth Center at 420 West 16th St. reported to Sedalia Police that someone shattered a window between 9:30 p.m. on Sept. 22 and noon on Sept. 23.

A woman in the 26000 Block of Forest Ridge Road reported to Pettis County Deputies that someone had taken money from her bank account without her permission on Aug. 13.

Pettis County Deputies received a report from a victim who said someone stole several pieces of jewelry from a home on Sept. 21 between 6:30 and 7:30 a.m.

Pettis County Deputies received a report of a burglary that happened in the 30000 Block of McCormick Road. It is not known if any items were taken, but the incident occurred between July 1 and Sept. 23.

A man in the 700 Block of West 3rd reported to Sedalia Police that another vehicle backed into his last night (Sept. 23) and damaged the driver's side front bumper, front quarter panel and the driver's side headlight.

Several Arrests Made

Sedalia Police arrested Christopher Scott for a probation violation, bond set at $10,000 cash only.

Sedalia Police arrested Edwin Goss for trespassing, bond set at $283.

Sedalia Police arrested Dominique Taylor for failure to appear, bond set at $200 cash.

Sedalia Police arrested Nicholas Noble for failure to appear, bond set at $150 cash only.

Sedalia Police arrested Nicole Taylor for failure to appear, bond set at $86.50.

Sedalia Police arrested Tina Haislen for possession of meth, possession of drug paraphernalia and failure to maintain the right half of the roadway.
