The following Sedalia Police and Pettis County Sheriff's crime reports are from the morning of Thursday, December 4, 2014.

Pettis County Deputies Investigate A Child Abuse Case

The Pettis County Sheriff's Department is investigating a reported child abuse case, that was referred to them by the Sedalia Police Department, involving a seven-year-old.

Several Property Damage and Thefts Reported

A woman in the 900 Block of Royal reported to Sedalia Police that someone damaged the building by spray painting it.

A man in the 700 Block of West 16th reported to Sedalia Police that someone damaged his business on December 3.

A man in the 1200 Block of East 11th reported to Sedalia Police that a push mower was stolen from behind a rental home, between October 1 and November 20.

A woman in the Crestview Trailer Park reported that someone stole an electronic device from her vehicle, while it was parked on Dec. 2.

Pettis County Deputies responded to a vehicle accident in the 3500 Block of South Kentucky. The accident caused minor injuries to the driver and property damage to a privacy fence. The driver was issued a traffic summons and was released from the scene.
A box full of drug paraphernalia was found in the 2400 Block of West 3rd on Nov. 30.

Four Arrests Made

Sedalia Police arrested Jeremy Maupins for driving while suspended, bond set at $533.50 cash/surety.

Sedalia Police arrested Joshua Vannoy for identity theft-misdemeanor, forgery, stealing other theft, fraudulent use of a credit device and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Sedalia Police arrested Christina Forsee for a parole violation and resisting/interfering with arrest for a felony.
