The following Sedalia Police and Pettis County Sheriff's crime reports are from the morning of Thursday, February 19, 2015.

Sedalia Police arrested Megan Smith, of Independence, after seeing her make a wide turn onto South State Fair Boulevard from West Main Street, yesterday morning (Feb. 18). Sedalia Police discovered that the vehicle was stolen from Rolla. Smith was taken into custody and faces charges of tampering in the 1st degree and driving while suspended.

Sedalia Police received a report that someone struck a fire hydrant near the intersection of West Johnson Street and North Moniteau Avenue. The hydrant was leaning and water came out of the ground. It is not known who struck it, but the hydrant was taken out of service for repairs.

Sedalia Police received a report from a man that someone trespassed into a shed.

Pettis County Deputies arrested Jennifer Peak for an active warrant for her arrest.

Sedalia Police arrested Edgar Carlos for driving while suspended.
