Sedalia Police Investigate Two Cases Involving Children

A man in the 300 Block of McAnally Court reported to Sedalia Police that a juvenile, who he is the legal guardian of, stole some items from the home and ran away.

Sedalia Police are investigating a reported case of child abuse in the 900 Block of East 5th.

Pettis County Deputies Investigate Reported Case of Animal Cruelty and Property Damage

A woman in the 23000 Block of Mahin Road, reported to Pettis County Deputies that several animals on her farm had become sick and she believed they were poisoned. Pettis County Deputies are investigating the animal cruelty complaint.

Pettis County Deputies received a complaint from a man in the 10000 Block of Highway B in Windsor that two of his Walnut trees were cut down without his permission from 70 acres that he owns. The investigation is still ongoing at this time.

A man in the 13000 Block of South Fork Road reported to Pettis County Deputies that his mailbox was damaged by an explosive on the night of July 29.

Several Thefts Reported

A woman in the 300 Block of McAnally Court reported to Sedalia Police that sometime around July 23, someone stole several items from the home.

A Sedalia resident reported to Sedalia Police yesterday (July 30), that someone used his debit card, without his authorization.

A man reported to Sedalia Police that he found a pink purse near East Broadway and South Engineer.

One Arrest Made

Sedalia Police arrested Damon Buckner for driving while suspended.
