Pettis County Deputies Investigate Two Thefts

A woman in the 1500 Block of Crestview Drive reported to Pettis County Deputies that someone stole two patio chairs, valued at $75 each, from her home on June 17 or 18.

Pettis County Deputies received a report yesterday (June 19) of a theft that occurred in the 23000 Block of Highway MM, between July 1, 2013 and August 31, 2013.

Sedalia Police Searching for Bicyclist

Early this morning (June 19), Sedalia Police saw a bicyclist riding without proper lighting in the area of East 24th and South Collins. Sedalia Police turned on a spotlight on the suspect and the suspect abandoned the bike and ran off on foot. The suspect has not been located.

Two Arrests Made

Sedalia Police arrested John Jones for a Henry County warrant for a probation violation, bond set at $2,500 cash.

Pettis County Deputies arrested Gregory Porter of Sedalia on two counts of tampering with a motor vehicle.
