Sedalia Police Investigate A Possible Sexual Abuse Case

Child Safe of Central Missouri contacted the Sedalia Police Department in reference to a possible sexual abuse case, involving a child, in the 1100 Block of East Broadway. Sedalia Police investigated the allegations and they were unfounded.

Several Thefts and Property Damage Reported

A man in the 300 Block of South Lamine, reported to Pettis County Deputies that three shotguns were stolen from his home, between March 20 and June 9, 2014.

An employee of the Missouri State Fairgrounds reported to Sedalia Police that someone damaged three gates on the fairgrounds, including the main gate on 16th Street, on the morning of June 25.

An employee of Interstate Studios reported to Sedalia Police that two license plates were stolen from three vehicles.

Two Bikes Found

A woman in the 900 Block of South Arlington, reported to Sedalia Police that she found a bicycle in front of her home on June 23.

A man in the 1300 Block of East 5th, reported to Sedalia Police that he found a girls bike in the street in front of his home on June 25.

Two Arrests Made

Sedalia Police arrested Scott Ritter for driving while suspended and a misdemeanor failure to appear, bond set at $437.50 cash.

Sedalia Police arrested Michael Filicetti for driving while suspended.
