The following Sedalia Police and Pettis County Sheriff's crime reports are from the morning of Thursday, May 7, 2015.

A man from Benton County reported to Sedalia Police that his credit card has been used fraudulently in several locations in Sedalia.

Pettis County Deputies received a report that someone stole prescription medications from a home in the 1400 Block of Elm Hills Boulevard, yesterday afternoon (May 6).

Pettis County Deputies arrested William Ray Ash for a traffic violation and was found to have two active warrants out of Pettis County for failure to appear in the amount of $5,000 cash or surety on each.

Sedalia Police arrested Cody Driskell for failure to appear-misdemeanor and a drug violation for possession of synthetic narcotics, bond set at $250.

Sedalia Police went to the area of East 13th and South Summit Avenue on May 2 for a report of subjects fighting and using drugs in a vehicle. Sedalia Police detected an odor of marijuana and arrested Wesley Bradley for a drug violation for possession of synthetic narcotics, drug violation for marijuana misdemeanor and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Sedalia Police did a sobriety checkpoint in the area of South Winchester and West 12th on the night of May 2. Sedalia Police arrested Christopher Paxton for possession of drug paraphernalia and a drug violation for possession of marijuana misdemeanor. Sedalia Police arrested Victoria Williams for possession of drug paraphernalia.

Sedalia Police arrested James Yount for shoplifting from Walmart and two juveniles were also found to have stolen property with him.
