The following Sedalia Police and Pettis County Sheriff's crime reports are from the morning of Tuesday, August 25, 2015.
An employee with the Smithton School District reported to Pettis County Deputies someone stole an AM/FM radio from a school bus and also had some minor vandalism, causing $50 in damages between August 10 and 24.
Last night (August 24), Sedalia Police stopped a vehicle for a minor traffic violation and detected an odor of marijuana from inside. Sedalia Police found two bags of marijuana and a pipe. Sedalia Police arrested the passenger, 26-year-old Joseph Casdorph, for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. The driver was a juvenile and Sedalia Police did a referral for him.
Sedalia Police arrested Jennifer Woolery for a Pettis County warrant for possession of drug paraphernalia, bond set at $5,000.
Sedalia Police arrested Jordan Roberts for posession of drug paraphernalia and failure to obey, bond set at $533.50 for each offense.
Sedalia Police arrested Aaron Blondell for failure to appear and failure to appear misdemeanor, bond set at $400 cash.
Sedalia Police arrested Sherman Ward for failure to appear and resisting arrest, bond set at $150 cash.
Sedalia Police arrested Joshua Smith for having an open container, bond set at $134 cash/surety.
Pettis County Deputies arrested Donnie Friend for two active warrants for failure to appear out of Boone County and Clinton.
Pettis County Deputies arrested Brian Iliff for driving while suspended.
