The following Sedalia Police and Pettis County Sheriff's crime reports are from the morning of Tuesday, August 4, 2015.

Pettis County Deputies and Sedalia Police executed a search warrant at 1581 Crewview in Pettis County. A quantity of methamphetamine and paraphernalia were found in the home. Pettis County Deputies arrested Kevin Clark after he ran from the Deputies and Jason Johnson was also arrested on scene.

Pettis County Deputies conducted a traffic stop on Catherine Cady and Brianna Parker both of Sedalia on Pony Path Road and Lamms Lane. Pettis County Deputies asked for consent to search the vehicle and was given permission by Cady and Parker. Pettis County Deputies found marijuana and drug paraphernalia in the vehicle. Charges were forwarded to the Pettis County Prosecutor's Office.

Sedalia Police are investigating a report of an assault on a child that may have occurred while the child was in day care.

Sedalia Police arrested 42-year-old Sherman McNish for domestic assault in the 2nd degree and abuse of a child. McNish was placed on 24-hour hold, pending charges.

Sedalia Police investigated a reported case of domestic violence involving three people near South Engineer and East 6th Street, yesterday.

A woman in the area of Lewis and South Engineer reported to Sedalia Police someone stole her 2013 Hyundai Sonata, yesterday (Aug. 3).

A woman reported to Sedalia Police someone stole her child's gas powered four-wheeler in the area of West 6th and South Osage, between the night of August 1 and morning of August 3.

The manager at Denny's, at 2401 West Broadway, reported to Sedalia Police a man ate there last night and did not pay for his bill.

Pettis County Deputies arrested Bryan Shoemaker for resisting arrest, failed to yield to an emergency vehicle, careless and imprudent driving and hindering prosecution.

Sedalia Police arrested Shawn Becker for driving while suspended.
