The following Sedalia Police and Pettis County Sheriff's crime reports are from the morning of Tuesday, December 30, 2014.

Sedalia Police Investigate a Hit & Run Accident, Involving a Pedestrian

Sedalia Police received a report of a juvenile that was struck by a vehicle in the area of 15th Street and Grand Avenue. The male was crossing 15th Street, using the north and south sidewalk of Grand Avenue, when he was struck by the vehicle. The vehicle drove off northbound on Grand Avenue and did not provide information. The victim was transported to Bothwell Regional Health Center by Pettis County Ambulance crews.

Several Thefts and Property Damage Reported

A man iin the 34000 Block of Westermier Road reported to Pettis County Deputies that someone stole a vehicle off his property, between Dec. 26 and 29.

A man in the 400 Block of West 20th reported to Sedalia Police that several thousand dollars in tools were stolen from his garage on Dec. 26.

A man in the 30000 Block of Pleasant Hill Road reported to Pettis County Deputies that someone stole or he lost two shotguns.

A man reported to Sedalia Police that someone stole $1,350 worth of equipment from his vehicle in the 900 Block of LaGrand Street, yesterday (Dec. 29).

A man reported to Sedalia Police that someone stole items from a vehicle in the 900 Block of South Vermont, yesterday (Dec. 29).

Sedalia Police received a report of a white subject that exited a silver passenger car and broke the driver's side window of the victim's vehicle in the 700 Block of North Grand, last night (Dec. 29).

Eight Arrests Made

Sedalia Police arrested Kari Murray for a Johnson County warrant, bond set at $4,500 cash/surety.

Sedalia Police arrested Eric Johnson for driving while intoxicated and possession of marijuana, bond set at $1,067 cash/surety.

Sedalia Police arrested Christina Bell for failure to appear-misdemeanor, bond set at $250 cash/surety.

Sedalia Police arrested Travis Martin for failure to appear-misdemeanor, drug violation for possession of marijuana-misdemeanor, two charges of possession of imitation controlled drug and drug violation for possession of synthetic nacotics, bond set at $150 cash.

Pettis County Deputies arrested Daryl Rasa for charges of driving while revoked, no proof of insurance, possession of a controlled substance (meth), three counts of drug paraphernalia, no seat belt, displaying plates of another vehicle and failed to register motor vehicle annually with the Department of Revenue.

Sedalia Police arrested Nancy Crafton for burglary in the 1st and stealing from Walmart.

Sedalia Police arrested Heather Schafer and Porter White for stealing from Walmart.
