The following Sedalia Police and Pettis County Sheriff’s crime reports are from the morning of Tuesday, January 20, 2015.

Sedalia Police received a report of an assault that happened at Walmart last night (Jan. 20). The victim suffered minor injuries and the suspect fled in a vehicle. Sedalia Police caught up with the vehicle at Broadway and Ruth Ann and did a traffic stop. The vehicle then took off at a high rate of speed and Sedalia Police followed the vehicle until Highway 50 and Air Park Road. Pettis County Deputies picked up the chase until the Morgan County line, but the suspects were not apprehended.

Sedalia Police received a report of a missing juvenile last night (Jan. 19). The mother said that the juvenile had been missing since 1:30 yesterday afternoon (Jan. 19), when she left on foot.

A woman reported to the Pettis County Deputies that her vehicle was stolen yesterday (Jan. 19), in the 24000 Block of Manila Road. The vehicle has been returned and the investigation continues.

Sedalia Police received a report from a Walmart employee that two suspects stole merchandise by concealing it in a large box and paying only for the item that belonged in the box.

Sedalia Police received a report of a verbal disturbance yesterday afternoon (Jan. 19) in the 1800 Block of South Carr.

Sedalia Police received a report of a verbal and physical argument yesterday morning (Jan. 19), in the 400 Block of North Grand.

Sedalia Police arrested William Hughes for failure to appear, bond set at $88.50 cash.

Pettis County Deputies arrested Arnulfo Lopez for Pettis County warrants, possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

Sedalia Police arrested Donna Hughes for driving while suspended.
