The following Sedalia Police and Pettis County Sheriff's crime reports are from the morning of Tuesday, January 6, 2015.

A woman in the 2400 Block of Main Street, reported to Pettis County Deputies that someone stole her vehicle, while it was parked on Sunday morning (January 4).

Sedalia Police received a repot of a theft and property damage that happened in the 200 Block of East Boonville. The victim reported to Sedalia Police that somebody broke a window and stole a JVC Stereo, valued at $120, from the car and the front and rear license plates and also caused $100 in damages to the vehicle, between 2 p.m. on December 31 and 5:30 a.m. on January 5.

Yesterday (Jan. 5), Sedalia Police received a report of someone trying to steal a truck, but rendered it unstartable by trying to bypass the ignition. The man reported to Sedalia Police that someone stole his backpack and some other items from inside his truck.

A victim reported to Sedalia Police that some damaged a cell phone, valued at $150, in the 1600 Block of East 10th, yesterday (Jan. 5).

An employee of Wood's reported to Sedalia Police that someone stole alcohol, valued at $15.59, from the store on January 5.

Sedalia Police arrested Casey Kitch for domestic assault in the 2nd degree and unlawful use of a weapon by using a knife and using it in an intimidating way.

Sedalia Police arrested Philip Breining for domestic assault in the 3rd and failure to appear-misdemeanor.
