The following Sedalia Police and Pettis County Sheriff's crime reports are from the morning of Tuesday, June 16, 2015.

Last night (June 15) at 9:14, Sedalia Police were involved in a vehicle pursuit that started in the area of 24th and Kentucky, when Sedalia Police tried to make a traffic stop on a silver vehicle. The suspect vehicle fled and ran a stop sign at 24th and Grand and turned south on Clinton Road. Sedalia Police observed the vehicle weave through traffic on Clinton Road and did not feel safe pursuing the vehicle further, due to traffic on 32nd Street.

A man in the area of Gentry Avenue and 2nd Street, reported to Sedalia Police yesterday (June 15), that someone stole his black custom Sunday Sound Wave twenty-inch bike, valued at $2,000, from his unlocked Chevy Suburban.

A man in the area of 11th and South Vermont reported to Sedalia Police that someone stole a pistol, valued at $633, and an electic meter, valued at $800 from his unlocked car yesterday (June 15).

A man in the area of South Prospect and West 14th reported to Sedalia Police yesterday, a suspect broke into his home and stole an unknown amount of items.

An employee of Breaktime, at 1510 North Ohio, reported to Pettis County Deputies that there was a $52.08 gas drive off on June 11

An employee of Breaktime, at 808 East Broadway, reported to Sedalia Police that a suspect stole a 12-pack of alcohol, valued at $15.44.

Sedalia Police placed Jesse Smith on 24-hour hold for introducing contraband to the Pettis County Jail, after he was found to be intoxicated and had a marijuana cigarette on him, when brought to the jail after going to the Bothwell Regional Health Center Emergency Room.

Sedalia Police arrested Carl Hartley 2nd for possession of marijuana, bond set at $533.50.

Sedalia Police arrested Holly Simmons for failure to appear-misdemeanor, bond set at $500 cash/surety.
