The following Sedalia Police and Pettis County Sheriff's crime reports are from the morning of Tuesday, March 17, 2015.

Pettis County Deputies received a report from a man in the area of U Highway and Liberty School Road that someone stole some old copper from a large plastic tub, sometime between March 1 and 16.

Sedalia police received a report that someone stole a laptop and wallet containing a driver's license, insurance card and bank card, when they went into Casey's to pay for their gas at 3501 West 16th, yesterday afternoon (March 16).

Pettis County Deputies were called to the 14000 Block of Highway 127 in Houstonia, for a burglary no-in-progress on Sunday (March 15).

Pettis County Deputies received a report of identity theft that happened sometime since January 1.

A man and his wife reported to Sedalia Police that they were scammed when they attempted to purchase a car on Craigslist on March 9. They sent $2,500 via Western Union fora Mazda 6 and realized they were scammed when the car did not arrive by March 13.

Pettis County Deputies received a report from a man in the area of Sycamore Drive and Pin Oak Lane in Sedalia, that his son-in-laws truck got vandalized with color marker during the night of March 15.

Sedalia Police arrested Carl Johnson and Larry Roberts for driving while suspended.

Sedalia Police arrested Daniel Aguare-Perez for operating a motor vehicle on a highway without a valid license.

There was a hit and run accident that happened in front of a home in the area of West 4th and South Quincy. A man reported that there was moderate damage done to the front driver bumper of his vehicle. Sedalia Police found the suspect vehicle a few blocks away, but the driver at the time of the accident is unknown.

A woman reported to Sedalia Police that her 2002 Nissan Maxima was damaged, while it was sitting along the roadway in the 2800 Block of Clarendon Road on March 14.

A man reported to Sedalia Police that his 1998 Ford Escort was hit by something in front of his home in the area of North Quincy and West Pettis on March 15.

Sedalia Police arrested Virgil Edgar for failure to appear-misdemeanor, bond set at $2,500 cash/surety.

Sedalia Police arrested Jennifer Neighbors for a Vernon County warrant, bond set at $800 cash.

Sedalia Police arrested Dennis Drummer for assault in the 3rd degree.
