Sedalia Fire Department Investigates Fire

Yesterday (May 20), the Sedalia Fire Department went to 308 West Cooper Street on a report of a structure fire. The Sedalia Fire Department found the home fully engulfed with fire. The Sedalia Fire Department and Sedalia Police determined no one lived there and there were no utilities were turned on at the home.

Several Thefts Reported

A man in the 700 Block of East 4th reported to Sedalia Police that the trailer plate, valued at $25, was stolen from his Parkhurst Utility Trailer.

A man in the 1500 Block of South Missouri reported to Sedalia Police that someone stole items from his car on May 19.

A man in the 1900 Block of East Broadway reported to Sedalia Police that someone stole his cast iron decorative mailbox, between 4 pm on May 15 and 9:30 am on May 16.

Pettis County Deputies received a report that an Apple I-phone 4 was stolen at the Dresden High School, yesterday (May 19).

Sedalia Police Receive Report of Dog Bite

A woman reported to Sedalia Police that she was walking her small dog on April 1, in the area of Southwest and Wing Avenue. A pit bull came running up to them and attacked her dog. The woman was bit in the process of searating her dog. The dog's caretaker arrived almost immediately after. The pit bull was euthanized at the vet office, per the caretaker.

Sedalia Police Arrested

Sedalia Police arrested Charles Wright for trespassing at Breaktime at 318 West Broadway, bond set at $283.

Sedalia Police arrested Shea and Eric Archibeque, for failure to appear-misdemeanor, bond set at $250 cash.

Sedalia Police arrested Quintan Brown for failure to appear, bond set at $88.50.

Sedalia Police arrested Sherman McNish for failure to appear-misdemeanor, bond set at $10 cash.

Sedalia Police arrested Troy Wright for destruction of non-city property after he punched a driver's side mirror, breaking it.
