The following Sedalia Police and Pettis County Sheriff's crime reports are from the morning of Wednesday, February 11, 2015.

The manager of American Inn, as 1217 South Limit, reported to Sedalia Police that they left the business in care of another person, while they were gone for a few days. That person abandoned the American Inn and did not keep accurate records of who was staying at the hotel. In addition, there were $1,700 in tvs and linens that were stolen and an air conditioner unit, valued at $500, was damaged.

A woman in Pasadena, Texas, reported to Sedalia Police that her identity was stolen and she believes the suspect lives in Sedalia. The Sedalia and Pasadena Police Departments are investigating.

A woman near East 4th and South New York Avenue reported to Sedalia Police that someone spray painted graffit on her building, causing $200 in damages, yesterday (Feb. 10).

The management of American Inn, at 1217 South Limit, reported to Sedalia Police that they found a driver's license while cleaning a room and turned it into Sedalia Police.

Sedalia Police found money in the area of East 4th and South Thompson.

Sedalia Police arrested Kevin Lea for stealing (shoplifting), distribution of synethetic narcotics and possession of drug paraphernalia after stealing a phone from Dollar General, at 713 E. Broadway, and then was tracked down by Sedalia Police at Broadway and Ohio.

Pettis County Deputies arrested Kevin Hontz of Green Ridge on an active warrant out of Pettis County for failure to appear.

Sedalia Police arrested Raymond Brockway for a parole violation.
