The following Sedalia Police and Pettis County Sheriff's crime reports are from the morning of Wednesday, January 14, 2015.

Sedalia Police received a report of a man that threatened to shoot at a National Guard helicopter. Pettis County Deputies and Sedalia Police were advised on the threats and are investigating the matter.

A man in the 1000 Block of South State Fair reported to Sedalia Police that someone stole his 17-gallon Dewalt air compressor, valued at $400, from the locked laundry room at his apartment complex.

A man in the 1200 Block of South Limit reported to Sedalia Police that items belonging to National TV Sales and Rental were taken from his home on Jan. 10.

Sedalia Police received a report from an employee at Walmart that someone left the store with a cart full of items and did not pay for them.

Hall and Strauch were placed on a 24-hour hold and received a $7,500 cash/surety bond.

Pettis County Deputies arrested Terry Trester on an active warrant for his arrest, bond set at $1,000 cash or surety.

Sedalia Police arrested Miguel Flores-Velazquez for driving while suspended, bond set at $533.50.

Sedalia Police arrested Billy Welliver for domestic assault in the 3rd.

Sedalia Police arrested Bobby Summerall for unlawful use of a weapon after he fired a shot into the ground and was walking around with the gun in his pocket.

Sedalia Police stopped a vehicle in the area of South Missouri and West 13th for not displaying license plates yesterday afternoon (Jan. 13). Sedalia Police could smell a strong odor of marijuana coming from the car. A passenger, Martha Ganados, admitted to having marijuana in her sock and was issued a court summons.

Yesterday (Jan. 13), Sedalia Police received a report of a pit bull running loose in the area of Cooper and Prospect. Sedalia Police saw the dog go into a home and gave the owner, 19-year-old Morgan Wheeler a summons for animal running at large.

Sedalia Police arrested Erin Hoke for driving while suspended.
