The following Sedalia Police and Pettis County Sheriff's crime reports are from the morning of Wednesday, June 17.

Pettis County Deputies responded to Oak Grove Lane, down by the low water crossing, in reference to an abandoned vehicle that had been burned, yesterday morning (June 16). The cause of the fire has not been determined and the investigation is ongoing.

Pettis County Deputies received a report of a burlary that happened in the 22000 Block of Maltsbarger Road. The victim reported to Pettis County Deputies that someone stole a black 32-inch LCD LG, Magnavox, Black RCA Receiver, sometime between Sunday night (June 14) and early this morning (June 17).

A man in the area of East 19th and South Hancock reported to Sedalia Police that someone stole a weedeater from his shed.
A man in the area of South Arlington and East 12th reported to Sedalia Police that someone entered his unlocked truck and stole some change and a watch, between midnight and 6 yesterday morning (June 16).

Pettis County Deputies received a report of a theft in the area of Westlake Drive and Willow Brook Drive on Monday (June 15).

Pettis County Deputies received a report of a burglary that happened in the area of South Ingram and East 28th Street on June 9 or 10.

Pettis County Deputies received a report that there was property damage done at Riverside Pediatrics on Monday or Tuesday.
Property was damaged but nothing appeared stolen.

A woman in the area of South Washington and East 13th reported to Sedalia Police that an unknown vehicle struck her vehicle, while it was parked late last night (June 16).

A woman in the area of East 16th and South Summit reported to Sedalia Police that someone keyed her car, last night (June 16).

Sedalia Police received a report of a dog that was running at large in the area of South Lamine and East 19th on Monday (June 15). The dog killed a kitten and took the kitten back to his yard. The owner of the kitten called police and they found the kitten in the garbage can, but the owner of the dog was not available for questioning at the time of the report.

Sedalia Police arrested Norris Groves Jr. for a probation violation, bond set at $750.

Pettis County Deputies arrested Hayden Louis Rhorer for active warrants out of Pettis County.
