The following Sedalia Police and Pettis County Sheriff's crime reports are from the morning of Wednesday, June 24, 2015.

Sedalia Police and emergency pesonnel responded to 1211 South Lamine to investigate a reported house fire on Monday evening (June 22). One of the residents were severely burned and transported to Bothwell Regional Health Center, before going to the University of Missouri Hospital for treatment. The fire appears to be accidental.

Sedalia Police went to the area of West 6th and South Harrison on a report of a fire in an alley last night. The Sedalia Police Department and Fire Department located a garage that had a small portion on fire. The Sedalia Fire Department extinquished the fire, but the cause of the fire is unknown.

Sedalia Police received several complaints of property damage done to businesses in Downtown Sedalia. Rock & Roll Salon, Felten Building, Total Look Salon, Sedalia Senior Center, Pro Velo and Edward Jones all reported to Sedalia Police, several utility services were damaged, yesterday (June 23).

A man in the area of South Montgomery and East Broadway reported to Sedalia Police, yesterday (June 23), someone stole a gray Craftsman riding mower from his yard in the overnight.

A man in the area of West Pettis and North Osage reported a theft to Sedalia Police, yesterday (June 23). The man reported to Sedalia Police, someone stole a 20-inch blue/black framed Next brand bike, a smaller Razor brand scooter, a larger Razor brand scooter and a Hitachi 12-volt corless flashlight with battery pack, altogether valued at over $200.

A woman reported to Sedalia Police on Monday evening (June 22), someone stole her purse, while at the Liberty Park Pool. The purse contained $40 in cash and some personal cards.

A man reported to Sedalia Police that some medicine and cologne were stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the area of West 2nd and South Osage, yesterday (June 23).

Sedalia Police recieved a report of property damage and trespassing that happened in the area of East 13th and South Marvin, yesterday (June 23).

Sedalia Police arrested Galen Bennett for failure to appear, bond set at $88.50.

Sedalia Police arrested Kenneth McGee for resisting and interfering with an arrest for a misdemeanor.

Sedalia Police arrested Viktor Sviridov for driving while suspended.
