The following Sedalia Police and Pettis County Sheriff’s crime reports are from the morning of Wednesday, June 4, 2014.

Sedalia Police Investigate Property Damage and Theft

A man in the 700 Block of West 7th reported to Sedalia Police that someone damaged his vehicle mirror over the weekend, causing $200 in damages.

A man reported to Sedalia Police that his wallet was stolen between 6 pm on May 31 and 6 pm on June 1. He also reported to Sedalia Police that whoever stole his wallet has been using his debit and credit cards.

An employee of Casey’s at 1601 East Broadway, reported to Sedalia Police that there was a $15.75 gas drive off on Monday (June 2).

Several Arrests Made

Sedalia Police arrested Willis Young for having a Cooper County warrant, bond set at $4,900.

Sedalia Police arrested Shanya Hale for failure to obey, after Sedalia Police asked her to leave, as she was not involved in an investigation they were doing. Hale left after being asked to leave multiple times, but then she returned and refused to leave, when asked to leave again by Sedalia Police. Hale was arrested, bond set at $531.50.

Sedalia Police arrested Christina McCoy for failure to appear, bond set at $200 cash.

Sedalia Police arrested Melinda Hamby for failure to appear, bond set at $156 cash.
