The following Sedalia Police and Pettis County Sheriff's crime reports are from the morning of Wednesday, May 13, 2015.

Pettis County Deputies received a report of an alleged sexual abuse of a seven-year-old girl by an adult. The incident is reported to have taken place in the northern portions of Pettis County and is currently under investigation.

Sedalia Police went to the area of North Harding and East Boonville on a report of trespassing. Three suspects loaded large machinery into their van and were not authorized to be there. The suspects left their vehicle behind and left the scene. The van was towed away.

A man was followed by somebody in a vehicle from Sonic, at 300 West Broadway, to 6th and Grand, yesterday (May 12). The man stopped and two subjects got out of the other vehicle, pulled the man out and slapped him. The suspects returned to their vehicle and fled southbound on Grand.

Two homeowners in the area of South Moniteau and West 17th reported to Sedalia Police that somebody stole two large spools of copper, copper wiring, tools and a six-foot lader, altogether valued at $2,500.

A landlord reported to Sedalia Police that she found a home she was renting out around the East Clay and East Hogan area was found to have city code violations. She investigated and found the home was abandoned and heavily damaged.

A woman in the area of East 10th and South Ingram reported to Sedalia Police yesterday (May 12), that somebody damaged the front lock to her home and the overhead garage door.

Sedalia Police arrested Jeffrey Lindenmeyer for a drug violation for possession of synthetic narcotics, unlawful use of a weapon and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Sedalia Police arrested Sergio Moreno for driving w hile suspended.
