The following Sedalia Police and Pettis County Sheriff's crime reports are from the morning of Wednesday, May 27, 2015.

Two juveniles ran away from a home in the area of 19th and Ingram yesterday. Sedalia Police located the two juveniles and brought them back to their home.

Sedalia Police received a report that twelve storage units had their latches and locks cut off the doors during the night. Four of the storage units were gone through.

A man in the area of South Emmet and East 7th reported to Sedalia Police that someone had slashed his work van's tires between Saturday (May 23) and Tuesday (May 26), causing $2,000 in damages.

A man in the area of North Grand and West Cooper reported to Sedalia Police that someone stole two fuses out from a fuse box from under the dashboard of his vehicle, yesterday (May 26).

A man in the area of East 7th and South Washington reported to Sedalia Police that someone stole two bikes from his grandchildren. The bikes are described as a purple Hannah Montana Mongoose and a pink and silver Huffy.

A woman in the area of West 5th and South Vermont reported to Sedalia Police that someone stole a package from her mailbox on May 11.

Pettis County Deputies received a report on Monday (May 25) that someone driving a black Jeep SUV struck the south end of his driveway, causing $1,000 in damages.

A coin purse was left at Woods Express yesterday (May 26) and turned over to Sedalia Police.

Pettis County Deputies made a vehicle stop yesterday (May 26) for a traffic violation. Pettis County Deputies detected the presence of marijuana and the Sedalia Police K9 Unit assisted the deputies and found approximately 22 grams of marijuana in the vehicle. Ashley Maupins-Deml, of Sedalia, was arrested and taken to jail on possession marijuana charges, with a pre-bond set at $1,500 cash or surety.

Sedalia Police arrested Brittney Shipman for a non-extraditable warrant out of Oak Grove, bond set at $400 cash/surety or $132 cash only.

Sedalia Police arrested Joshua Durbins for failure to appear, bond set at $150 cash.
Sedalia Police arrested Keith Kirby for failure to stop at a stop sign and driving  while intoxicated (alcohol).
