The following Sedalia Police and Pettis County Sheriff's crime reports are from the morning of Wednesday, October 28, 2015.

Pettis County Deputies received a report that several saddles and other horse tack, valued at $6,500, were stolen from a barn in the 33000 Block of Highway 65 on Monday evening (October 26).

Pettis County Deputies received a report of several power tools stolen from a construction trailer over the last weekend in the 4200 Block of West Main Street.

Sedalia Police received a report from a victim in the area of South Vermont and West 10th Street, someone broke into a vehicle. The suspect stole a cell phone, Ipod and $125 in cash from the vehicle early this morning (October 28).

A man near East 12th and South Marshall, reported to Sedalia Police someone stole items from his car on October 16.

A man in the area of East 6th and South New York reported to Sedalia Police someone rummaged through his vehicle yesterday morning (October 27), but nothing appeared stolen.

Sedalia Police arrested Curtis Jackson for a Pettis County warrant for 1st degree rape, bond set at $500,000 cash/surety.

Sedalia Police arrested Matthew Barkacs for a Pettis County warrant, bond set at $5,000.

Pettis County Deputies arrested Alexander Carr for being involved in a theft. Carr was involved was placed on 24-hour hold pending state charges, stemming from the theft of jewelry from a home in the area of Fairway Drive and Highway Y, yesterday (October 27).

Sedalia Police arrested Samuel Rayburn for stealing a 24-pack of Milwauke's Best Beer at Wood's, bond set at $535.

Sedalia Police arrested 17-year-old Oscar Padilla for being a minor in possession of alcohol and resisting arrest after Sedalia Police went to the area of West 4th and South Vermont on a report of a disturbance involving approximately twelve subjects that were fighting one subject.
