Sedalia Police Investigated Several Thefts

A man in the 400 Block of East Chesnutt reported to Sedalia Police that his Toshiba Laptop was stolen from home between Sept. 27 to Oct. 1

A man in the 1200 Block of South Limit reported to Sedalia Police that someone stole his wallet on Sept. 30.

A man reported to Sedalia Police that someone stole or lost his wallet in the Katy Park two weeks ago.

Sedalia Police Investigate Hit & Run Accidents and a Traffic Accident

A woman in the 800 Block of East 6th reported to Sedalia Police that someone damaged her vehicle between 5 p.m Sept. 30 and 10 a.m. on Oct. 1

A Kia Spectra was struck while parked in the 500 Block of South Engineer on Sept. 30 between 5:35 and 5:40 p.m.

A man from Smithton reported to Sedalia Police that someone severely damaged his car while parked near the playground off of New York on Sept. 30 between 7 and 7:30 p.m.

There was an accident last night (Oct. 1) at 7:14 p.m. as Zachary Paxton was making a left from Clarendon to 16th when a truck was driven by Eberhard Krupp was driving south from Thompson and collided. Both drivers were transported to the hospital by ambulance, as was one passenger, Kevin Powell.

Sedalia Police is investigating an assault that occurred in the 1400 Block of South Moniteau.

Pettis County Deputies are investigating an animal bite that occurred on Highway HH.

Sedalia Police Make Several Arrests

Sedalia Police arrested Matthew Depoali for a Pettis County warrant, bond set at $5,000 cash/surety.

Sedalia Police arrested Cory Draper for a Windsor Police Department failure to appear, bond set at $257.50.

Sedalia Police arrested Shawn Hummel for a Clay County failure to appear, bond set at $250.

Sedalia Police arrested Christina Fulton for failure to appear, bond set at $150.

Sedalia Police arrested Kelly Power for failure to appear, bond set at $88.50.

Sedalia Police arrested Mark Dean and Alan Saxton for driving while suspended.
