The following Sedalia Police and Pettis County Sheriff's crime reports are from the morning of Wednesday, September 17, 2014.

Several Thefts and Property Damage Reported

A woman reported to Sedalia Police that her daughter's cell phone was stolen, possibly while at the Sedalia Middle School, yesterday (Sept. 16).

An employee of State Fair Spirits, at 1419 South Limit, reported to Sedalia Police that a bottle of liquor was stolen on Monday (Sept. 15).

An employee of Dollar General, at 2003 South Limit, reported to Sedalia Police that someone stole $6 in socks from the store on September 15.

Pettis County Deputies investigated a reported case of property damage in the 27000 Block of Highway 127 that happened between September 5 and 13.

Early this morning (Sept. 17), Sedalia Police investigated a reported domestic violence case in the 300 Block of South Vermont.
Sedalia Police investigated a minor accident that occurred on Winchester Road, while a vehicle was turning into Walmart.

Pettis County Deputies arrested James Smith for having an active Pettis County warrant.

Sedalia Police arrested Terry Myers for destruction of non-city property.

Several Arrests Made

Sedalia Police arrested Christopher Herron for three charges of failure to appear out of Benton County.

Pettis County Deputies arrested David Todd Cisneros of La Monte on charges of driving while suspended, no proof of insurance, no seat belt and failed to register his motor vehicle with the department of revenue.

Sedalia Police arrested Susan Grey for driving while intoxicated-prior offender and possession of marijuana.

Sedalia Police arrested Daniel Strunk for possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.

Sedalia Police arrested Matthew Zentner for failure to appear.
