The following Sedalia Police and Pettis County Sheriff's crime reports are from the morning of Wednesday, September 30, 2015.

A man near East 6th and South Montgomery reported to Sedalia Police a man stole his keys, valued at $60. The victim was talking with the person in question at the door, when the victim's dog started barking and he went to go tend to the dog. When the man returned to the door, the keys were stolen and the suspect was not there.

A woman reported to Sedalia Police someone stole her purse from a car, while at Liberty Park, between 11 am and 3:30 yesterday afternoon (September 29).

A man in the 24000 Block of Hughesville Road, in Hughesville, reported to Pettis County Deputies someone stole several items from his home, yesterday (September 29).

A man in the area of West Main and South Osage reported to Sedalia Police someone stole a 24-foot orange extension ladder on Monday (September 28). Witnesses in the area saw the suspect in question. Sedalia Police were able to find the man in question and he was issued a municipal summons.

Sedalia Police received a report of a stolen vehicle and assault in the area of East 10th and South Massachusetts, yesterday (September 29). The caller reported he had rented a vehicle for a person and was attempting to have that person return the vehicle. Sedalia Police found the vehicle in the area of 20th and Grand. Sedalia Police found the vehicle was not stolen, however the unnamed person was given a citation for careless and imprudent driving.

Pettis County Deputies received a report of property damage that occurred in the 38000 Block of Maple Grove Road, between September 25 and 28.

Sedalia Police arrested Donald Nagler Jr. for a parole violation with no bond issued.

Pettis County Deputies arrested Amber Wilson for a failure to appear charge out of Pettis County.
