A man in the area of East 19th and South Lamine reported to Sedalia Police that he had taken something that "tasted like poison" and was now sick. Sedalia Police investigated and the man said he had purchased what he thought was methamphetamine, but when he smoked it, it didn't burn right and tasted like poison. The man was taken to Bothwell Regional Health Center by ambulance, with no update on his status.

A man at West 19th and South Moniteau reported to Sedalia Police someone stole his 49 cc scooter from his garage around midnight on September 7.

A man reported to Sedalia Police someone stole funds from his checking account.

Pettis County Deputies received a report yesterday (September 8), someone stole their identity and used personal information to create a false account, between August 28 and September 8.

An employee of Walmart reported to Sedalia Police on September 5, someone stole various clothing items and returned the items for a gift card without paying for the items.

Sedalia Police arrested Stacy Uptegrove for failure to appear-misdemeanor, bond set at $400 cash.

Sedalia Police arrested Dustin Colvin for a probation violation.

Sedalia Police arrested Sarena Carter for stealing and endangering the welfare of a child in the second degree.
