Around 1:30 Saturday morning (Oct 8), Sedalia Police officers conducted a vehicle check in the 500 block of East 5th Street. The driver had a possible warrant from Lafayette County. The warrant was confirmed and the driver was arrested. 40-year old Shane T.E. Kreisel was taken to the Pettis County Jail the for probation violation warrant. His bond was placed at $4,000.00, cash.

 

Just before 2:00 Saturday morning (Oct 8), officers conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of South Limit and West 14th Street. The driver had a suspended license. 21-year old Cherokee D. Hill was arrested and taken to the Pettis County Jail, where she was booked and released. She was given a municipal court date of November 9, 2016.

 

Around 7:15 Thursday evening (Oct 6), Sedalia Police officers responded to Casey's General Store at 716 West 16th Street, for a report of a hit and run accident. An SUV had backed into a passenger car. Witnesses collected the license plate number from the SUV. Officers made contact with the SUV driver at his residence. An investigation revealed that he was intoxicated and had a suspended license. 39-year old Emilio G. Olivos Baltazar was arrested for DWI, suspended license, and leaving the scene of a motor vehicle accident. He was placed on a 24-hour hold in the Pettis County Jail.


 

On Friday (Oct 7), Pettis County Sheriff's deputies conducted a traffic stop for invalid registration. Frankie Van hook was arrested for an active Johnson County warrant, driving while revoked, and possession of marijuana. Mr. Van hook was taken to the Pettis County Jail.

 

On Friday (Oct 7), deputies arrested Antonio Marcos Quetzecua in the area of 14th Street and Stewart Avenue, for driving while intoxicated, no proof of insurance, failing to display valid plates, felony driving while revoked, and 3 counts of endangering the welfare of a child. No further details were listed in that report.
