Sedalia Police and Pettis County Sheriff’s Department Crime Report for May 5, 2016
On Tuesday (May 3rd), Pettis County Sheriff's deputies were dispatched to the area of Salem Road and Highway O, in Smithton, in reference to a report of stealing. The victim stated that several items were stolen from an out-building on the property. No values for the missing property have been determined, and that investigation is ongoing....
Early Tuesday morning, around 1:15 (May 3rd), Sedalia Police officers conducted a traffic-stop in the area South 65 Highway and West 5th Street, for a driver who was speeding and had a vehicle with expired license plates. A subsequent search of the car revealed the driver was in possession of drugs, including a felony amount of marijuana and also methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. 37-year old Patrick Scott Radu was arrested on the drug charges, including the intent to distribute marijuana. Radu was taken to the Pettis County Jail.
Around 1:45 Tuesday afternoon (May 3rd), officers conducted a subject check at West Broadway and Moniteau Avenue. After consent was given, the suspect's vehicle was searched, and officers discovered methamphetamine and prescription pills. 31-year old Christina Ann Wilkens was arrested and taken to the Pettis County Jail, pending state charges.
