Around 8:40 Monday morning (June 11), Sedalia Police officers were dispatched to the 500 block of West 7th Street in reference to a theft report.

The property owner stated the following items were taken:

  1. Charter phone modem
  2. Charter cable modem
  3. A Proscan 32-inch flat screen television
  4. An 8000 BTU window air conditioner unit
  5. A black telephone
  6. An Amped wireless range extender
  7. A 12-volt cord for a cable modem
  8. A 100-inch orange extension cord
  9. Microwave

The total value of the missing items is placed at $849.00. There were no further details listed in that report.

 

Around 2:00 Tuesday afternoon (July 12), officers were on patrol in the area of North Engineer and East Howard Street. Officers noticed a man who was known to have an active warrant. Upon contact with the man, his information was relayed to dispatch and the warrant was confirmed. Arrested at the scene was 20-year old Christopher Eugene Reynold. He was taken to the Pettis County Jail, with a bond set at $2,500.00, cash or surety.

 

On Tuesday (July 12), Pettis County Sheriff's deputies arrested Christopher Demus, of Sedalia, for an outstanding Pettis County warrant.
