The following Sedalia Police and Pettis County Sheriff's crime reports are from the morning of Tuesday, July 21, 2015.

The Camden County Sheriff's Department and Sedalia Police are investigating a reported sexual assault involving a child. The sexual assault may have happened in Sedalia.

Pettis County Deputies received a report of someone stealing a 45 caliber handgun and silver coins from a home in the area of Hall Road and Debbie Drive, between July 12 and 14.

A man reported to Sedalia Police yesterday (July 20), someone stole his lawn mower from the Immanuel Church of Christ at 418 West 4th, when he took a break from mowing.

A black trifold wallet containing a driver's license was found. Sedalia Police tried contacting the owner and was unsuccessful reaching the person. The property was placed into found property by Sedalia Police.

A social security card was found at the intersection of East 3rd and South Engineer on July 20. Sedalia Police tried contacting the owner and was unsuccessful reaching the person. The card was placed into found property by Sedalia Police.

Sedalia Police arrested Mitchell Duncan for failure to appear-misdemeanor out of Benton County.
