On Tuesday morning around 8:20 (April 26th), Pettis County Sheriff's deputies were dispatched to the Probation and Parole office at 205 Thompson Road in reference to a man who had a Pettis County warrant. Deputies made contact with Anthony Fritchey and arrested him on the warrant. He was taken to the Pettis County Jail with a bond set at $2,000.00 cash and $2,500.00 surety.

 

On Tuesday (April 26th), deputies, with assistance from Sedalia Police officers and the K9 Unit, arrested Ryan J. Hefley, in the area of Harding Avenue and Highway 50, on charges of Felony driving while revoked and possession of marijuana.

 

Tuesday afternoon around 2:45 (April 26th), Sedalia Police officers were dispatched to the 300 block of Scott Joplin Court to meet with a woman who complained that someone had threatened her during an argument. The suspect was located and it was discovered that he had an active Pettis County warrant. Officers arrested 65-year old Willie Bernard Carter and transported him to the Pettis County Jail. His bond was set at $326.50, cash only, for the warrant. Charges of harassment are also being sought.

 

Just after 1:00 Tuesday afternoon (April 26th), officers took a report from a woman who stated, that she recently learned, that her 15-year old daughter had been raped on two occasions, approx. two months ago. No contact had been made with the suspect at this point and there were no further details listed in that report.

 

Around 5:30 in the evening on Tuesday (April 26th), Sedalia Police officers were dispatched to the 2100 block of Clinton Road in reference to a theft. The victim stated that copper from two non-working air conditioning units was taken, along with a 12-Volt car battery. The items were allegedly taken sometime in the last week. The value of the items was placed at about $150.00. There are no suspects at this time and the investigation is ongoing....

 

Around 11:45 Tuesday morning (April 26th), officers were dispatched to the Pettis County Health Center, located at 911 East 16th Street, in regards to a report of stealing. An employee interpreted for the victim, that her purse had been stolen by another client. The suspect, 26-year old Destiny Dawn Rose, was located and arrested on charges of stealing. She was taken to the Pettis County Jail, where she was booked and released.
