On April 2nd, Pettis County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Rodrigo Quetzecua-Marcos in the 19500 block of Whitfield Road on a Pettis County warrant.

 

On March 31st, around 8:10 in the evening, Sedalia Police officers conducted a traffic stop in the area of West 14th Street and South Osage. Upon contact, the officer noticed the odor of marijuana and conducted a probable cause search of the vehicle. A bag of marijuana was found and 39-year old Eric G. Lujan was arrested and transported to the Pettis County Jail with a bond set at $533.50 cash or surety.

 

Just after 8:00 in the morning on March 31st, in the 100 block of West 4th Street, 27-year old Anthony T. James was arrested on a Pettis County warrant. He was transported to the Pettis County Jail with a bond of $3,500.00 cash or surety.

 

Around 1:15 in the afternoon on April 1st, officers were dispatched to the 800 block of Thompson Blvd. for a reported assault. Neither subject wanted to pursue charges, however on subject had an active warrant from Macon County. 62-year old Maura L. Wagner was arrested for failure-to-appear. She was transported to the Pettis County Jail. No further details were listed in that police report.

 

Around 9:40 in the evening on April 1st, Sedalia Police officers conducted a traffic stop in the area of East Main Street and Massachusettes Avenue. The driver turned out to have a revoked license and two possible warrants. After a brief search of the vehicle, the driver and occupant were found to be in possession of methamphetamine and other drug paraphernalia. Both subject were arrested and transported to the Pettis County Jail on multiple drug related charges. At the time of the report, 24-year old Vena Rae Schoonover and 26-year old Timothy Shane Lemaire were in jail, pending state charges.

 

Just after 8:00 in the morning on April 2nd, officers responded to the 1200 block of West 5th Street for a reported theft. Someone got into the victim’s locked vehicle sometime overnight and took items from her purse. Reported missing, was $1,300.00 in cash, ATM cards, EBT cards, and ID cards. There were no further details listed in that police report.

 

Just before 5:00 in the evening on April 1st, officers took a report of a burglary in the 1300 block of South Ohio Avenue. Two suspects were located in the residence and found to be in possession of a controlled substance and materials that are consistent with drug distribution. 25-year old Shane Lewis Mundy and 21-year old Ryan L. Newland were arrested on drug charges, including the intent to distribute. They were both transported to the Pettis County Jail, pending state charges.

 

Around 7:30 in the evening on April 2nd, Sedalia Police officers arrested 29-year old Jason P. Clark, in the 1600 block of South Ohio Avenue, on charges of 2nd degree domestic assault. Clark was transported to the Pettis County Jail, pending state charges.

 

Around Midnight, on April 2nd, officers were dispatched to a residence the 1200 block of East 4th Street, on a report of four subjects who refused to leave the residence. However, the suspects had left the scene by the time officers arrived. A quick search of the area was conducted and officers located three of the subjects. 18-year olds Ana M. Marcos and Negina A. Melgar, and one juvenile, were arrested on multiple charges, including burglary and property damage. All were transported to the Pettis County Jail.

 

Around 11:50 in the evening on March 2nd, 24-year old Kaleb T. Welch was arrested in an abandoned residence in the area of the 1200 block of East 4th Street, on various drug related charges. Welch was transported to the Pettis County Jail and placed on a 24-hour hold.
