Around 1:30 Friday morning (August 12), Sedalia officers who were working security at the State Fair, were called to a cattle barn for two subjects who refused to leave. The suspects were uncooperative and argumentative, according to that report. Both people had the odor of alcohol on their breath. Both subjects were arrested and taken to the Pettis County Jail.

The subjects are identified as 21-year old Ezra M.D. Feece, of Lincoln, MO was arrested for 1st degree trespassing and resisting arrest and 22-year old Chase Austin Hummel of Cole Camp, MO was arrested for 1st degree trespassing. Charges are pending.

Around 1:30 Saturday morning (August 13), Sedalia Police officers conducted a traffic stop in the area of 32nd Street and Limit Avenue, for a vehicle that didn’t have its light turned on. The driver was given a standard field sobriety test, in which she did poorly. A breathalyzer test revealed she was above the legal limit of .08. Arrested at the scene was 25-year old Abbey Elizabeth Burk, of Columbia, MO. She was taken to the Pettis County Jail, where she was issued a summons and released to the custody of a sober subject.

 

 

On Friday (August 12), officers conducted a traffic stop near West 10th Street and South Grand Avenue. The driver was intoxicated. Officers arrested 20-year old Gena A Craig, of Cole Camp, MO and transported her to the Pettis County Jail, for DWI and no operators license.

 

On Thursday (August 11), Sedalia Police officers took a report of forgery. The victim said he paid into a business, and then the suspect paid using checks from a closed account, totaling $1,000.00. There were no further details listed in that report.

 

 

On Friday (August 12), Pettis County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Robert E. Crum in the area of 7th Street and Center Avenue, on charges of driving while suspended (felony), possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, and careless and imprudent driving.

 

On Thursday (August 11), Pettis County deputies arrested Lindsey Rose Keeling in the 1500 block of Crestview Drive, on outstanding warrants, with bond set at $1,135.00, cash only.
