Sedalia Police and Pettis County Sheriff’s Department Crime Reports for August 15, 2016
Around 7:30 Saturday evening (August 13), Sedalia Police officers responded to Wal-Mart, located at 3201 West Broadway for a reported theft. The suspect had allegedly stolen three items, worth a total of $14.92. Arrested at the scene was 28-year old Ashley I. Moore. She was also in possession of two different controlled substances and drug paraphernalia. Moore was taken to the Pettis County Jail and placed on a 24-hour hold, pending charges.
Last Friday evening, around 5:40 (August 12), officers were dispatched to Valiant Pawn Shop, located in the 700 block of East Broadway. They identified a subject who was involved in an investigation. The subject's information was relayed to dispatch and it was confirmed that he had a warrant from Saline County. 26-year old Novas V. Durley, of Marshall, was arrested and taken to the Pettis County Jail. His bond was placed at $2,500.00 cash or surety. There were no further details listed in that report.
Around 4:20 Saturday afternoon (August 13), Sedalia Police officers responded to the 700 block of South Lafayette Avenue, for a reported burglary. The victim stated that someone forced entry into the residence and took $330.00 worth of property. There was no description of the missing items in that report and there are no suspects at this time.
Around 5:00 Saturday morning (August 13), officers responded to the 1900 block of South Limit for a reported theft. The victim stated that $300.00 worth of meat was stolen off of a smoker. There were no further details listed in that report.

On Saturday (August 13), Pettis County deputies arrested Aleksey Shivyrev, in the 3400 block of McVey Road for 3rd degree domestic assault.
