On February 20th, around 9:12 in the morning, in the 1000 block of South Mildred Avenue, Sedalia Police officers took a report of property damage. The victim stated that sometime overnite, someone had slashed the vinyl top on his convertable Ford Mustang. The estimated cost to fix the damage is $1,000.00.

Around 3:40 in the afternoon on February 20th, officers responded to The Pet Shop at 210 West Main Street to investigate a theft. The reporting party stated that a beared dragon had been stolen. There is video footage that will be provided to Police when it is available. The investigation is ongoing....

Early in the morning on February 20th, around 1:30, Sedalia Police arrested 32 year old Freaderick William Fizer for possession of marijuana and the intent to distribute. Fizer was transported to the Pettis County Jail on a 24-hour hold, pending state charges.

On February 19th, around 7:00 in the evening, in the 300 block of West 10th Street, officers responded to a report of suspicious activity. Upon contact with the subjects, one of them turned out to have 3 active warrants out of Pettis County and one warrant out of Boone County. The total bond on the warrants was $10,000.00, cash or surety. 32-year old Shannon Dale Davis was arrested and transported to the Pettis County Jail.

around 12:42 in the afternoon on February 20th, officers responded to the 2200 block of East Broadway for a reported burglary. The house appeared to have been broken into. The owner stated that he was missing a chainsaw, a drill, 2 sets of wheels, and other misc items. There were no other details listed in the police report.

Late in the evening on February 20th, around 10:30, in the 400 block of West 6th Street, officers responded for a civil standby. The tenant stated the residence may contain stolen items. Upon investigation, officers found items that had been reported stolen. The owner of the residence was later located and arrested. 24-year old Michael Lashawn Taylor Jr. was transported to the Pettis County Jail, pending state charges of burglary in the 2nd degree.

On February 21st, around 10:45 in the evening, Pettis County Sheriff's Deputies, and the Missouri State Highway Patrol made a traffic stop at 700 South Carr for a vehicle with expired tags. Arrested at the scene was Frank Joseph Van Hook Jr., of Sedalia, for driving while suspended, not having the vehicle registered, failure to appear warrants out of Johnson County, and suspicion of DUI. Van Hook Jr. was taken to the Pettis County Jail, awaiting the filing of charges.
On February 19th around 11:45 at night, deuties were dispatched to the 4900 block of Vernon Road for an assault. 20 year old Kyle Gregory Lindgren was arrested and taken to the Pettis County Jail, pending formal charges.
