On February 6th, around 2:00 in the morning, in the 200 block of West 2nd Street, Sedalia Police officers arrested 35-year old Wesley R. Garrison for 1st degree statutory sodomy and 1st degree child molestation. He was transported to the Pettis County Jail on a 24-hour hold. No other information was listed in the police report.

Late Saturday night, around 11:11, police officers conducted a traffic stop at West Broadway and South Osage Avenue. Upon contact, the driver refused a consent to search the vehicle. A K-9 unit was called to the scene and alerted to possible drugs in the vehicle. Sedalia Police discovered methanphetamine, drug packaging supplies, and a loaded handgun. Arrested at the scene was 42-year old Dennis Wayne Delapp, of Warrensburg, and placed on a 24-hour hold in the Pettis County Jail pending state charges.

Just before Midnight on February 6th, Sedalia Police officers conducted a routine traffic stop in the area of the 1200 block of East 3rd Street. The driver's information was run through dispatch. Dispatch confirmed that the driver had a suspened license and two outstanding warrants from the state of Iowa. The vehicle also turned out to have been reported stolen from Iowa. 36-year old Stephen Joe Martinez was arrested and tranported to the Pettis County Jail on a 24-hour hold.

Around 3:55 in the afternoon on February 5th, Sedalia Police officers took a report of property damage in the 400 block of West 4th Street. The victim stated that sometime either Thursday or Friday, someone had damaged her vehicle while it was parked at her place of employment. There is a possible suspect in the case but no other details were listed in the police report. The damage to the vehicle was placed at about $500.00.

On February 7th, around 3:00 in the afternoon, Sedalia Police officers were dispatched to the 500 block of West 7th Street for a reported disturbance. The female victim and two witnesses stated the male suspect was dragging the female victim through the yard and also choking her. Arrested at the scene was 44-year old Clint J. Lambert. He was transported to the Pettis County Jail on a 24-hour hold. Charges of 2nd degree domestic assault are being sought.

Arond 11:13 in the evening on February 6th, there was a report of a shoplifter at Wal-Mart, located at 3201 West Broadway. The complaintint stated the suspect had taken multiple clothing and craft items and placed them in her purse. Contact was made with the suspect and arrested at the scene was 41-year old Kimberly S. McNeil. She was transported to the Pettis County Jail. The items were recovered.

On February 6th, Pettis County Sheriff's deputies arrested Michael Chitwood of Sweet Springs, on charges of driving while revoked.
Also on February 6th, Pettis County deputies arrested Jesse Garron LeClair of Sedalia, in the area of Highway U and McCormick Road for possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphenalia, and possession with the intent to distribute. LeClair was on a 24-hour hold in the Pettis County Jail, pending formal charges. Deputies also arrested Haley Jo Winning. Winning was booked and released from the Pettis County Jail.
